The Beginning
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to create lasting positive change in the lives of marginalized communities. What started as a small initiative by a group of dedicated individuals has grown into a trusted organization serving thousands across Bangladesh. Our journey began when we recognized the pressing need for comprehensive support in education, healthcare, and social development. We saw communities struggling with limited access to resources and opportunities, and we knew we had to act.
Our Journey
Foundation
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha was founded on July 11, 2021. As we observed our surroundings, we saw many families struggling with poverty, helplessness, and social inequality. We witnessed how marginalized communities—especially children, women, and the elderly—are deprived of basic education, healthcare, and essential opportunities. Seeing these realities, we decided not to remain silent or passive. Instead, we committed ourselves to stand beside those who are most vulnerable and in need. With a strong vision to bring meaningful change, we set out to work through education, healthcare, and social development programs, aiming to improve the quality of life for the disadvantaged. Driven by this mission, Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha began its journey to create positive impact and continue serving communities with compassion and dedication.
Registerd By National Social Service Authority
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha was officially registered with the National Social Service Authority on August 30, 2022. In order to strengthen and formalize our social service activities, the General Committee decided to obtain an official registration certificate from the government. Through this registration, our social service initiatives have expanded significantly, enabling us to reach and support more communities across the country.
Expansion of social services
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha is committed to expanding and enhancing its social service initiatives. Our primary mission is to provide support to the underprivileged and vulnerable communities through education, healthcare, disaster relief, women and child development, and social security programs. To further scale up our activities and to secure support from national and international donors, we are applying for registration with the NGO Affairs Bureau. We firmly believe that with official recognition and donor collaboration, our reach will expand significantly, enabling us to work more effectively towards improving the quality of life for the marginalized sections of society.
NGO Affairs Bureau Registration
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha was officially registered and certified by the NGO Affairs Bureau on June 02, 2025. This milestone was taken after a decision by the General Committee to strengthen and formalize our social service initiatives. We are committed to supporting poor and vulnerable communities through various assistance programs. In particular, we organize skill development training for unemployed individuals and provide necessary equipment to help them become self-reliant and secure sustainable livelihoods. Additionally, we continue to provide food, healthcare, educational support, and humanitarian aid to improve the quality of life for the helpless. This recognition from the NGO Affairs Bureau has enabled us to operate with greater transparency, accountability, and expanded reach across the country.

Certificates And Affiliates
Registered by the Department of Social Services
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha (MSKS) was officially registered with the Department of Social Services (DSS) on 30 August 2022. This registration has strengthened the organization’s operations, making them more structured, transparent, and institutional. Since then, MSKS has been actively serving disadvantaged and vulnerable communities through health, education, women empowerment, livelihood development, disaster management, and environmental conservation initiatives.
Registration from NGO Affairs Bureau
Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha (MSKS) was officially registered and certified by the NGO Affairs Bureau on 02 June 2025. This recognition enables the organization to manage its social service activities in a more transparent, accountable, and structured way. MSKS supports disadvantaged and vulnerable communities by creating employment opportunities, promoting self-reliance, and providing various training and assistance programs. These include sewing, embroidery, household production, agriculture and livestock, small business development, and other income-generating activities. MSKS also provides food, medical aid, education support, and humanitarian assistance to improve the lives of the underprivileged.
Meghna Youth Poverty Development Organization
An affiliate of Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha (MSKS), Meghna Youth Poverty Development Organization was officially registered on 02 May 2023. The organization is dedicated to empowering youth, supporting underprivileged young people to achieve self-reliance, and enabling them to play a vital role in the country’s social and economic development. To achieve this, it conducts training programs, workshops, practical sessions, and entrepreneurship initiatives, while also promoting awareness, leadership, and community-based activities to help youth become active and responsible members of society.
