Project Overview
The Duck and Poultry Rearing Training Program for Women, implemented by Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha (MSKS), is an income-generating and capacity-building initiative aimed at empowering rural and underprivileged women. The program focuses on providing practical knowledge and skills on duck and poultry farming to enhance self-employment opportunities and improve household income.
Through this training, participants receive guidance on breed selection, feeding, housing, disease prevention, vaccination, and basic farm management. The program is designed to encourage women’s participation in small-scale livestock rearing, enabling them to become financially independent and self-reliant.
This initiative contributes to women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, nutritional improvement, and sustainable livelihood development at the community level.
