Project Overview
The “Women Employment through Cottage Industry” program implemented by Meghna Samaj Kalyan Sanstha (MSKS) is an empowerment-focused initiative aimed at creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women. Many underprivileged women possess skills but lack proper opportunities, training, and market access to become economically independent.
Through this program, women are encouraged and supported to engage in cottage industries such as handicrafts, sewing, embroidery, handicraft-based products, food processing, and other home-based income-generating activities. The initiative provides basic training, guidance, and motivation to help women turn their skills into sustainable sources of income.
This program contributes to women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, self-reliance, and socio-economic development at the community level.
